Beau Cripps, M.A. has been a consulting archaeologist in Alberta since 1998 and a
project manager since 2003; he has also conducted a variety of projects in Saskatchewan,
Ontario and the Caribbean. Examples of completed projects include the cultural resource
investigation of well sites, pipelines, gathering systems, housing developments, dam
rehabilitation and highway construction. Beau has successfully negotiated Historical
Resources Act of Alberta requirements for his clients through the design, implementation
and supervision of all aspects of historical resource management. |

Beau also has extensive academic experience including the management of a
successful international archaeology field school in Antigua, West Indies from 2000 to
2008. This diversified background has provided invaluable experience such as managing
projects of differing sizes, organizing logistics (often internationally), working with limited
budgets to find creative financial solutions, educating inexperienced workers in
archaeological field techniques and writing or editing reports, papers and presentations
for a variety of professional and public audiences. |

Safety is an integral part of Speargrass operations. Our safety program endeavours to
protect our employees, clients, property, the environment and the general public. We are
in full support of the Petroleum Industry Guiding Principles for Worker Safety and the
Occupational Health and Safety Act. Our integrated safety program is developed towards
compliance with SECOR requirements. We also carry 5 million dollars in General
Commercial Liability Insurance, Personal Injury and Non-Owned Vehicle Liability
respectively (5 million dollars aggregate). |
